My parents were in love. His were divorced.
I was poor; my parents spent all of their money on this school. He was rich; a building donned his family name.
It was the summer before Kindergarden.
The private school we went to had a summer program.
We where on the playground when it started to rain.
The teacher ushered us inside.
Once inside, we voted on a movie.
The Little Mermaid. "Let's act it out."
"No. Be quiet and watch the movie."
We acted it out.
"It's the end... they're going to kiss."
He grimaced, "How do you know?"
"I've seen this movie before."
I owned almost every single Disney movie.
"Well, we have to act it out."
My eyes widened and he kissed me. On the lips.
His friend saw us and pointed.
"They just kissed!"
The teacher tried to suppress a grin.
"Do it again!"
But we were too shy.
When everyone stopped bothering us, he kissed me again.
This time no one saw.
