    Happiness [2]

Post by AshleyBrooke on Tue Sep 28, 2010 6:22 pm

Happiness. We all want it all the time.

These teens have always had a happy
life in their small little town in Alabama,
their highschool only has 800 people in it
    total, everybody knows everybody and
    everybodys friends.
But when two teens get alittle too close,
    there could be problems.
Rumors spread like wild fire in small
    towns like these.
    teenage pregnacy is big gossip.
Will the picture perfect happy town
    come crumbling down?
    Will the happiness go away?

    Characters:

    Janie Lovely

Janie and her boyfriend just might have
    started all the drama.
I guess the night of the bonfire wasn't the
right night to go all the way. . .

    Eric James

Doesn't want to be a father.
When Janie told him that they might be expecting,
he flipped out. He doesn't want a kid, he's only
in highschool, he doesn't want his life ruined.
He's sticking to a theory that Janie must have slept
with other guys. Even though he knows thats
    not true.

    Kacie Owens

Is a close friend to Janie, but has no idea
about the pregnacy, or even the fact her and Eric
    went all the way.
She prays that Janie would never find out that
she had slept with Eric first...

    Jarred Kent

Admirors Kacie very much. He thinks she's so bright,
pretty, outgoing, and not like anybody he has ever
meant before. They have science together, she makes
    every experiment enjoyable.
He hoped she fells the same way.

    Amy Freemen

Is close friends with Jarred. It hurts her
so much everytime he talks about Kacie, she's had the biggest
crush on him for so long. It kills her so much that he loves
    someone else.
Also Knows about the pregnacy, she saw Janie throw away the
positive test in the school bathroom. Will she tell?

    Jessica Lovely

Janie's older sister, only older by one year.
Janie's always been the goody goody in the family, praised
for being the youngest. But when she finds out her baby sisters
having a baby, will she be the favorite? Or will it just blow up
    in her face?
    Such sisterly love..

*A/N: Ill be writing from each characters point of veiw, some more than others so if this gets confusing, just tell me and ill do something to change it(:
oh and this is not a roleplay anymore, I decided to make yet again ANOTHER story hahah(:
    I hope you enjoy it!

    Chapter One

"Come on! We've only got ten minutes to do this!" Janie whisper-yelled to her friend, Kacie.

"Sorry! You know I'm athletically challenged!" Kacie whinned and attempted to speed walk alittle faster.

Janie grabbed Kacie wrist and pulled her into the girls bathroom.

They girls looked around and under the stalls to see if anybody was here. The coast was clear.

"Do you really think this is necessary? Maybe your mind is just playing some twisted, mean trick on you!" Kacie said, pumping out all the foamy soap from the dispenser

    making a foam mountain.

"I think I know when I'm supposed to get my period! It's been two months, nothing." Janie said, she walked into the bathroom.

"Well I don't think your...pregnant!" Kacie whispered the last word, like it was a dirty swear word that nobody would ever dare to speak of.

"I just want to make sure.." Janie said, walking out of the stall setting the pregnancy test on the counter.

"How long do we have to wait?" Janie asked, Kacie pulled the pregnancy text box out from her bookbag,

"Uhhh, four minutes" She said, stuffing the box back in her bag all the way to the bottom.

"What do you mean you want to make sure? You used protection right?" Kacie asked, she jumped up and sat on the sink counter.

"Well, no..." Janie mummbled, praying her friend would just drop the conversation and just wait with her.

"WHAT!?" Kacie whisper-yelled. Her eyes grew big, like she was witnessing a murder taking place.

"SHHH! It was our first time, we didn't know what we were doing!" Janie explained in a hushed tone.

She played with the end of her shirt, her fingers were shaking like crazy.

"Well even a ten-year-old would know to wear a glove!" Kacie looked alittle annoyed by Janies' ignorance.

"We just got caught up in the moment, I didn't know anything was going to happen..." Janie said, her voice trailing off.

There was a silence, the room was tense.

"How long has it been?" Janie asked, trying to break the silence.

"Its been six minutes." Kacie said looking at her phone, she hopped off the counter.

Janie picked up the test, her hands still shaking, she was so nervous. Janie felt a bit of sweat forming on her forehead.

"What does two lines mean?" Kacie asked, taking a look at the test.

"It means...Im pregnant." Janie chocked out. The test dropped to the floor, leaving both of them in a state of shock.

    Ding. Ding. Ding. Ding.

There was the bell, It was time for lunch to begin.

"I-I can't face Eric right now.." Janie studdered. She got chill bumps all over her body.

    A baby.

Her and Eric were going to be parents. How could she tell him? How would he react to this?

Would he leave her to take care of it all alone?

Horrible questions kept popping up in her mind, She didn't know what to do. She couldn't be a mother at sixteen.

"I'm gonna go home, Ill see you tomorrow.." Janie said.

She grabbed her bag and walked out of the bathroom to the doors to the parking lot.

When she got to her 2010 black convertable mini cooper, she broke down crying, what else could she do?

Life will be changed forever now, no matter what choice she made.

    Chapter Two

Jarred and Amy sat in the biology lab, awaiting for the class to start.

Amy leaned over her lab table and tapped Jarred on the shoulder,

"Soo, you wanna hang after school today?" Amy asked, biting her lip hoping he would say yes. It's been awhile since they've gotten to

    hang out.

"Sure, sounds fun" Jarred smiled and turned to face her,

"So what have you been doing lately?" He asked her, she couldn't help but just stare, he was so cute! And she was so in love with

    this guy.

"Oh nothing...Just hanging around the house" Amy said, what she had really been up to was waiting on him to call, text, skype, facebook, or just talk to her.

"Oh, sorry i've been busy, I really did want to hang out with you" Jarred said with a half frown on his face.

Amy got her hopes up that he might like her as more that just the 'good friend' now.

Just then Kacie Owens walks into the classroom, looking sad. She placed her stuff by her seat. Beside Jarred.

It made Amy go back to the first day of school, when people were picking lab partners. Instead of asking her, Jarred asked Kacie to

be his partner. He will never know how much it hurt her to be partners

with Eric James instead of him.

"Hey, what's wrong?" Jarred turned his back to Amy and began focusing all his attention on Kacie. As usual.

Amy sighed and rolled her eyes.

"Just friend problems..." Kacie said, her voice sounded like she was holding back tears.

Amys' eyes popped open. She knew it was them! They were the two girls in the bathroom!

So that meant Miss little pretty perfect Jamie was prego. Interesting..

Amy looked back up to see Jarred wrap his arms around Kacie's waist and
pull her in for a hug.

Amy felt like he just stabbed her heart.

"Thanks, I needed that" Kacie said, sitting down in her chair that was now closer to Jarreds' chair.

Amy rolled her eyes yet again. This disgusted her. Why did he have to like Kacie?

What was so great about her that Amy didn't have?

Kacie and Jarred didn't even have as much in common like Amy and Jarred did.

Aren't best friends supposed to fall in love after a certain amout of years? It's been like five.

The bell rang snapping Amy back into reality.

She tuned her ears back into Jarred and Kacie's conversation. Turns out it was just coming to an end,

"Okay, Ill meet you after school" Jarred said and gave Kacie a cute half smile.

Kacie gave him a peck on the cheek and said,

"Thank you, you're amazing" And turned back to face to front of the classroom.

Amy got a puzzeled look on her face, wasn't he going to hang out with her after school today?

Just then Jarred turned around to face her,

"Look I cant hang today, Kacie's having an issue and wants me to be there for her, maybe another time?" Jarred said in a whisper so he

    wouldn't get detention.

"Oh...sure." Amy said, she tried not to sound upset, but it was difficult.

Jarred smiled and turned back around and continued to whisper and giggle with Kacie.

Amy thought she had just died alittle inside.

    Happiness [3]

    Chapter Three

Eric James stood strong on the pitchers mound, quickly checking each side of him for base stealers,

listening intensely for the smallest sound that could indicate the start of a new play.

A bead of sweat slithered down the side of his face, his eyes squinting in the beating hot sun.

His hand twitched, it was the last bater, the last chances to strike him out.

The teams chance of winning or losing was all based on how he pitched this ball.

He tighened his grip and then as stong and fast as he could,

he released the baseball and it wen flying toward the hitter.

"STRIIII-IKE! BATTER OUT!" Yelled the chubby umipire.

The crowd in the bleachers cheered. They just won their first game.

Eric had the biggest smile on his face, it got even bigger when he saw his girlfriend, Janie, standing alittle away from the rest of the crowd.

He ran up to her and hugged her,

"Eww, you smell bad!" She laughed and hugged him back.

"This has to be the best day ever, I just won the game, it was a perfect moment!" Eric doubled over his excitment.

Janie just smiled a him, matching his huge smile. But then her smile slowly started to go away.

"What's wrong babe?" He said, why wasn't she as happy as he was?

"We...need..to talk." Janie whispered, almost so softly he couldn't hear her.

"Can it wait til' later? The teams going out to eat to celebrate." Eric said, his smile still inplace.

"Sure, it can wait, we've got time." Janie said, Eric wondered what she meant by time? But at this moment it probably wasn't as important as winning the game.

"Cool! Wanna come along?" Eric asked, slipping his hands around her waist.

"Nahh, Im not that hungry" Janie said, still no smile.

"I can't even show my girl off?" Eric said, making a pouty face that made her smile return.

"Sorry, I've got plans with Kacie!! Maybe later?" Janie asked, slowly walky backwards away from him.

"Okay, bye babe" Eric said, walking back to join his team in the celebration.

    Chapter Four

Janie walked quickly to the parking lot from the baseball feild.

Tears forming in her eyes, bluring her vision. A lump forming in the back of her throat, warning her she was about to burst out

    in tears.

She couldn't tell him. He was so happy. She couldn't ruin his moment with such news.

A kid is probably the farthest thing from his mind, all Eric ever thinks about is baseball, baseball, baseball.

Nothing could be more important than that. Not even her.

She finally reached her car, she dug around in her purse for the keys.

"Come on! Where are you!!" She snapped at her not-visable keys, her voice beginning to crack, another sign telling her she was close to tears.

Then she remembered her keys were in her pocket, she rolled her eyes at her forgetfulness and stumbled into her car.

She put the keys in the engine and turned the car on, instantly the song 'Grace Kelly' by Mika blared out of the speakers.

Voilently, Janie hit the off button on her radio. She wasn't in the mood for music.

She just sat in her car and cried for a good five minutes. She texted Kacie, her best friend, who would always be there for her no matter what.

Hey girl, can we hang now? Problem.

Janie dropped her phone in the passangers seat and dried her eyes, she knew if anyone could get her happy again, it would be her hyper, spaztic, funny,

    random, amazing friend Kacie!

Her phone started vibrating, expecting a text back she grabs her phone, but instead it was a call, for Kacie.

"Hello?" Janie answered, her voice clearly told she had just cried.

"Hey, sorry hon, I can't hang out! I'm hanging out with Jarred" She heard a giggle after she said that, and then another, but it wasn't from Kacie.

Must have been from this Jarred kid. Janie had never heard of him.

"Oh, well that's okay..." Her voice trailing off. Maybe Kacie wasn't going to be there for her when she needed a friend most.

She was about to say more but then suddenly Kacie hung up.

Sinking lower and lower into self-pitty, Janie plugged in her iphone into the car and played the saddest songs she had on there.

Songs about break-ups, which is what she would have when she told this problem to Eric.

About lonliness, what she would feel when shes all alone about to give birth nine months from now.

Heartache, sickness, losing people, every sad song in the book about anything that could be depressing was played.

She pulled out of the parking lot and drove home, even though she didn't want to. She knew if she couldn't tell Eric about the baby she couldn't tell her parents.

Actually at this point, she didn't really know anything.

She didn't know anything about parenting so how in the world could she raise a child?

She didn't have any skills that could gt her a good job to support the child she doesn't know how to raise.

She doesn't know how she would get through college, let alone highschool, with a baby inside her.

She wouldn' know how to deal with all the stares and rumors that would fly around school when word got out.

So many things she doesn't know anything about that she would have to learn if she were to keep the child.

What if she got an abortion.

Would Eric hate her forever? Would her family? Would they call her a murderer?

What would happen to her? Her life?

Why did everything have to change?

Tears began to stream down her cheeks once more. So many things could happen and go wrong.

She was so supid to have sex without any kind of protection. So stupid.

Everyone else would think so to when they find out, because soon enough, they would. It's highschool, what do you except.

She snatched her phone and quickly texted Eric.

    After your done with your friends, come over to my house, parents wont be home, gotta tell you something (;

She rolled her eyes at the text but sent it anyways, not even two minutes later he replied to her.

    Sure thing babe(;

She dropped her phone again. Tilting her head back to make the tears roll back into her skull she took a death breath.

This wasn't going to be easy.

    Chapter Five

Kacie went in the bathroom to check her hair and make up one more time before Jarred got here. She thought it over and maybe, just maybe he could be more than just a friend.

She smiled at herself in the mirror, her curls were still perfectly curly. Her bright red hair made her piercing green eyes pop, and her make up was flawless.

A wave of guilt washed over her. She blew off her best friend. Her expecting best friend. And for what? A guy?

She considered quickly texting Jarred asking for a rain check, but then she wondered if she would ever get the chance to hang out with him again?

He was always with that one girl, what's her name, Anna? Allie? Amy?

Plus he was really cute, and she could see Janie anytime. She had months before the baby comes to talk about it.

The fake sense of self assurence that blowing off her best friend was okay made her feel alittle better, even though she knew it was wrong.

A knock on the door made all of her worries and wonders fly out the window.

Kacie walked over to the door and opened it for Jarred to walk in, but instead of having her biology partner standing in the doorway, she saw that girl he would always be hanging around with.

"Hi?" Kacie said with a puzzeled look on her face, not knowing why this girl was here, or how she found out where she lived?

"Um, hello Kacie" She said, avoiding Kacie's questioning eyes.

"Yeah...can I help you...?" Kacies voice trailed off when she remembered she didn't know her name.

    "Amy."

"Well can I help you Amy?" Kacie asked, her voice sounded slightly annoyed. Where was Jarred?

"Well, uh..I wanted to, uh..return s-something of yours..." Amy stuttered and choked out. Amy looked down at her feet, like she was trying to think of some excuse.

"What?" Kacie asked, she had never let Amy borrow anything of hers and she didn't have anything missing. She knew she was just making this up on the spot.

Amy reached into her back pocket and pulled out a pencil,

"I think this is your pencil" Amy said in a quiet voice, still looking down.

Kacie arched her eyebrows, what a pathetic excuse.

    "Nope."

"Oh, well is Jarred here?" Amy asked, now looking right into Kacies eyes.

"Ohhhh, so that's why your here, to find your little boyfriend." Kacie tried her hardest to hold in the laugh that was building up inside of her.

"He's not my boyfriend." Amy snapped at her, She was shocked that this pathetic girl was giving her attitude at her own house.

"Oh he's not? Well good, I'll make him mine then" Kacie said in with a slutty smile following. This girl was getting on her nerves and she wanted her gone before he got here. Because she did not intend on inviting her to hang out with them.

As if on cue in a movie, Jarred walked up the drive right when Kacie and Amy were about to throw down.

"Hey Kacie" Jarred smiled, like he didn't even realize Amy was standing right next to him.

"Hey babe" Kacie said pulling him in for a hug, he was caught off gaurd but returned the hug anyway.

Amy glared at her, but Kacie just winked at her. They pulled apart and then Jarred finally noticed his friend Amy standing right beside him.

"Oh, um, hi Amy. What are you doing here?" He asked, confused on why she was there. It's not like the two girls were actually friends. Or have ever talked before this day.

"She was just leaving." Kacie answered for her and pulled Jarred into the house followed by the door closing leaving Amy out there all alone.

"I'm so glad you came over" Kacie said leading him into the living room.

"Yeah me too" He smiled at her, she blushed.

"So are you feeling any better than before?" He added on, refering to science class when she felt pretty low.

"Alittle" Kacie shrugged, she looked down to the ground. She didn't feel like talking about it at the moment because it will just remind her about Janie, which will remind her how she ditched her, which will make her feel guilty again.

"Well thats good" Jarred said sitting down on the couch, he patted the spot next to him motioning Kacie to sit down by him.

She sat down very close to him, not even an inch was seperating them.

"Sooo, I have a question" Kacie said putting her hand on his thigh and tracing shapes.

"Yes?" Jarred asked, leaning slightly closer to her.

"Whats with you and that Amy girl?" Kacie asked looking right into his eyes.

"what do you mean? He slightly leaned away from her.
Kacie moved towards him alittle more, but not to much closer.

"Like your always around her, I was shocked when you said we could hang because I thought you would just be to busy with her" Kacie made a pouty face.

"She's just a friend, and I would always make time for you" He gave her a half-smile. She felt like her heart had melted because of it.

Kacie smiled back and leaned in even closer anf gave him a kiss, then another, and another.

Maybe not hanging out with Janie today wasn't so bad.

    Chapter Six

Eric stood at the front door of his girlfriends house. He smiled hoping she would let him go all the way again.

Janie opened the door and smiled,

"Hey" She said and kissed him on the cheek, he followed her inside.

"So what did you need to talk about?" He asked walking into her kitchen. Janie avoided his eyes and just got some cokes for them.

"Uhh, wanna watch a movie?" Janie asked, still not looking him straight in the eyes. He had a confused look on his face, why was she changing he subject?

"Want popcorn?" She asked, not even waiting for an answer, Janie got out a popcorn bowl and put the popcorn in the microwave.

"Sure..?" Eric's voice drifted away, he went to the living room and go out his cellphone.

Janies acting weird, ill just meet up with you tomorrow.

He sent the text to his friends on he baseball team, he heard the microwave ding and Janie hurrying around in the kitchen.

"Pick out a movie!" She called from the kitchen.

Eric went over to the dvd case and looked through the movies and grabbed a random one. He set it on the coffee table.

Janie came rushing in with popcorn and looked down to the coffee table,

"Paranormal Activity? But I hate scary movies?" Janie said setting the popcorn down.

"Come on babe, it's more funny than it is scary." Eric laughed, Janie shrugged and put the dvd into the dvd player and pressed play.

As soon as she sat down he put his arm around her.

"So what was it you had to tell me?" He whispered into her ear. Janie flinched and didn't answer.

Eric frowned and just watched the stupid movie, something was up, but what? Was she planning on dumping him tonight? That must be it. She wanted a break-up.

Eric removed his arm and slightly moved away form her little by little. Why would she want to dump him? What did he do wrong? He loved her so much.

"What's wrong?" Janie asked, finally taking her attention off of the movie and looking at him.

"If you're gonna dump just go ahead and do it." Eric said and stood up grabbed his jacket and phone.

"What are you talking about?! I'm not going to dump you! Who told you that?!?!" Janie asked and stood up grabbing his hand, her eyes screaming that she really wanted him to stay.

He automatically felt so stupid. What was he thinking?

    "Oh.."

He didn't know what else to say, he just made a complete fool of himself and acted like a jerk just because he assumed the worst.

"Why are you going to dump me?" Janie questioned and took a step back.

"No! Babe I don't ever want to break-up..I just thought since you were acting kinda strange that you wanted to..well break-up." Eric said, he realized how stupid he sounded. And by the look on Janie's face, she realized it too.

"Sorry" She said, Eric pulled her into a hug, he felt so awful for saying that to her.

"It's okay, it's my fault, im sorry babe, I love you" He kissed her head and kept hugging her. Janie started to cry.

He felt even worse now, he made her cry.

"Don't cry, please don't cry." He pleaded but her tears kept falling.

"I said I was sorry! I am, I really am!" He added, Janie pulled away and sat down on the couch again. He sat down to pulling her close.

"It's not that.." Janie said through tears.

"Then what is it, Ill fix it I promise." He whispered and held her in his arms wiping away her tears.

"Im- *tears*, im pregnant." She whispered softly, her tears lightened up and she looked up at him. He forze. Pregnant she was pregnant.

    He slowly stood up.

"It's not mine, impossible. You must of slept with someone else, you must of cheated on me. You're just a slut." He said in a monotone voice. He knew it wasn't true, Janie wasn't that type of girl.

he knew it was his, but he prefered that lie over the truth. He was going to convince himself that it was not his child.

"What? No..." Janie said and tears came back. She burried her face into her hands. Eric felt bad for her, but he just left.

He wasn't going to take care of a child in highschool. He pulled out his phone once more,

Janies a pregnant slut, not my kid.

He sent it to everyone in his contact list. Leaving Janie all alone.

    Chapter Seven

Jessica Lovely walked through Forever 21 looking through clothes trying to find a cute
outfit. It was almost her grandmothers birthday and as usual, the whole family would
go over to her grandmothers house to have diner.

She needed a good outfit to empress and show off her new figure.

Jessica used to be a tad bit over weight, but over the summer she had lost almost
eighty pounds, she was now a small one-hundred and fifteen pounds. Not as skinny
as her perfect younger sister, but close.

Her sister, Janie, was always the beloved one, always the praised one. Everyone thought she
was so perfect, that Janie could do know wrong.

    Sweet little innocent Janie.

Because of all of this, Jessica had a secret hatred for her sister, in the past the two would always
be compared. Never the outcome Jessica would like.

Janie was always smarter, she was always prettier, always nicer, better all around person than she was.
She never made a mistake that wouldn't be overlooked.

Thinking about the past made her upset. She knew she shouldnt, but she just couldn't help disliking
her own, her only sister. It was sad, she should love and protect her younger sibiling, but she did not.

Jessica lost her train of thought when her phone vibrated in her back pocket of her jeans.

1 New Message From Eric James.

She rolled her eyes, Janie also got all the guys too. Jessica had only had three boyfriends in her entire
lifetime and she was a senior in highschool, God knows how many Janie has had.

She tapped the screen of her iphone and opened the message.

Janies a pregnant slut, not my kid.

Her eyes wided in shock and she accidentally dropped her phone. Quickly she picked up her phone
rereading the messgae over and over again.

She didn't know why she had her little sisters boyfriends number in her phone, but at this point she was
    glad she did.

Little miss perfect was pregnant? Jessica smiled to herself and began to wonder what the whole family
would think about this at Grandmothers birthday dinner, maybe she would be the favorite now?

Jessica dropped all the clothes she had in her arms on a set up table full of colorful tees and tanks, she
hurried out of the mall to her car to hurry home, hoping Janie was still there alone.

It felt like the cars infront of her wouldn't go fast enough but soon enough she got home.

She sped up to the house so fast she almost ran right into the garage when she pulled into the driveway.
Jessica slammed the car door and hurried inside, noticing the only other car in the driveway was
owned by the one and only, Janie.

When she opened the door all she saw was Janie on the couch crying her eyes out, she instantly felt bad
for planning to expose her sister. Seeing the pain on Janies face wanted to make her cry herself.

She closed the door behind her and Janie's head shot up, she dried the tears from her eyes and gave
    Jessica a weak smile.

"Hi Jessie" Janie said, her voice was breaking.

"It's Jessica." She said rather plainly.

"Why are you crying." She added on, more as a statement then a question.

"Uh, Eric broke up with me..." Janie said in a low whisper, she looked down at the slipped popcorn and
    began cleaning it up.

Jessica rolled her eyes, that must not be all shes crying about. Was she really not going to come out and
tell her she was pregnant? Not even ask for advice? Jessica walked over to the couch near Janie.

"Yeah, I heard. He sent a text out, you know what was also in that text?" Jessica bent down and tilted
her sisters face up to meet hers looking her right in the eyes. All feelings of pitty washing away.

Janie slowly stood up and backed away.

With a smirk on her face Jessica said,
"When were you planning on telling everyone you were pregnant?" She let out a sinister laugh and crossed
    her arms over her chest.

"I wasn't planning on telling anybody. But I guess Eric did..." Janies voice drifted off and she kept staring into
    her sisters glare.

"You know what I think would be a good time to tell the family? At Grandmothers birthday dinner!" Jessica
said and smirked again. Janies eyes got big once again and she shook her head no.

"No. Jessica you can't tell!" Janie said, returning the glare Jessica was giving out.

"Maybe I will, maybe I won't. I guess we'll find out!" Jessica said and walked off to her bedroom, leaving her
    sister all alone.

    Chapter Eight

The next day at school all Amy wanted to do was find Jarred and ask tell him how she felt about him.

After yesterday when she saw how Kacie was acting when she saw him she knew she was running out of time and she couldn't just wait around from him forever.

It felt like it was now or never.

She turned the hall to his locker, and there he was.

He looked so flawless, like nothing could ever be wrong with him. He was the perfect guy for her, they belong together. Every single Taylor Swift song explains it.

She smiled as she was coming near him, like nothing could go wrong at this moment. She felt like a princess finally getting her prince charming in some fairytale movie.

Just then, Amy's fairytale movie turned into a horror movie when Kacie appeared and walked over to Jarred.

Amy froze. She didn't want to go over there when Kacie was there. What if she was embaressed again by Kacie infront of Jarred?

She took a deep breath, no this was going to be her fairytale. She was ditermined to go get her prince charming, Jarred.

Amy took quick steps and made her way over by Jarred.

"Hey Jarred" Amy smiled, interupting whatever Kaice was saying. It probably wasn't that important anyways.

"Hi Amy, sorry again that we couldn't hang out last night." Jarred said in a half pout face.

"Yeah, sorry that he completely ditched you to hang out with someone he would rather be with, me." Kacie smirked.

"Oh it's okay!" Amy smiled and ignorned Kacie's rude side comment, wouldn't he only say that if he had an awful time with Kacie?

Jarred smiled, "Great, we can hang out some other time"

"Yeah, sure, can I talk right now though?" Amy asked, she looked over at Kacie, "Alone."

"Just hold on Annie." Kacie said and turned to face Jarred.

"It's Amy " She rolled her eyes, she knew that Kacie knew her name.

Kcie didn't pay any attetion to what Amy had replied and didn't even say something back inreturn.

"Ill just talk to you at lunch hun" Kacie smiled at Jarred and then gave him a long kiss.

"Im so glad were going out now" Kacie smiled.

"Me too" Jarred smiled and kissed her on the cheek.

Amy felt like her heart had just shattered, it was true, her life was a horror movie. Tears started forming in her eyes, her vision was bluring, she couldn't feel her legs or arms. It was like her lungs were giving out on her, she couldn't breath.

Kacie took him away, she just stole him right out from under her. He was gone. He was hers.

Jarred turned to face her and she tried to hold the tears and to keep them from falling.

"What did you need to tell me?" He asked with a half smile, how cute he looked felt like another stab to her broken heart.

Amy was at a lost for words and looked down to the ground. She couldn't think.

"Nothing. It's not important, Ill see you in class." She said quickly, not even looking at him.

"You okay?" He asked, trying to catch her gaze.

"Peachy." She squeeked out, blinking repeatedly to hold the tears.

"Okay good, we'll hang out after school, Im coming over." Jarred smiled and shut his locker door.

Amy gave a small, fake smile and just nodded. She quickly turned around to find the nearest bathroom to go cry.

She wasn't a princess, she wasn't in a movie, no fairytales. She was just one small person out of billions on in the world.

    Chapter Nine

Janie held her phone in her locker and was searching all the possible problems that could happen to the baby. There were so many problems, so many birth effects, so many diseases. So many things that could go wrong.

Some problem that wouldnt even be discovered until months or even years after the baby was born.

Janie's heart started beating faster and faster. She wasn't ready to be a mother, she didn't know how to take care of a baby, she was scared.

    "BOO!"

Janie screamed and dropped her phone in her locker,

"What?!" she whipped her head around to see Kacie smiling behind her.
She wasn't to happy with Kacie at the moment. She texted Kacie to come over after the break up, but Kacie said she had family problems at the moment and couldnt leave the house.

She later found out on facebook that Kacie spent all night with that Jarred kid. Some famliy problems.

    She rolled her eyes,
"Don't you have some family problems to tend to?" Janie said and turned back to face her locker, she looked at her phone to make sure it was cracked or broke. She grabbed some books and shoved them into her bag.

"So I'm guessing you found out I didn't have any probelms, right?" Kacie asked, guilty was written all over her face.

"Yup. And I don't want to sit by a liar in history anymore. So I'll switch seats, and you can sit by your precious Jarred, who ever he is." Janie snapped and turned away.

She was already pregnant she didn't want to have a baby and a liar for a best friend. Oh, and lets not forget that evil olfer sister of hers.

Janie started walking towards her history class, Kacie was following close behind. Janie rolled her eyes once again.

"Janie I am so so so so soooooo sorry!" Kacie was pleading, following closely behind her.

Janie turned the hallway into the classroom.

"Really? The silent treatment.....I am really sorry! SPEEEAKKK!" Kacie whisper-yelled as the entered the classroom.

Janie went straight for the teacher,
"Good morning Mrs. Holloway, may I change seats?" Janie put on her sweetest smile when she asked.

"Oh sure dear, well the only seat available is beside Eric." She teacher smiled at her and put the seating chart down.

"Oh, um, no thanks." Janie smiled at sat down in her regular seat.
    Still ignoring Kacie existance.

She noticed out of the corner of her eye that Kacie got a huge smile on her face, she followed her gaze, she was staring at some guy. Janie assumed he was the Jarred kid.

She was positive it was the Jarred kid when he came over and kissed kacie on the cheek.

Why was everyone so happy when she was so miserbale?

"Look, Janie. I know you hate me so much right now and it is so totally understandable, but I think you would like to know what Eric is saying about you." Kacie said as soon as Jarred left.

Kacie pulled out her phone and scrolled down in her text message, then she handed her phone over to Janie.

Janie still didn't look at her but grabbed the phone anyways.

Tears almost began to form in her eyes, but stopped.

    He wasn't worth her tears.

So everyone knew now. It's not like they would've never found out.

Janie handed Kacie back her phone and then continued to ignore her for the rest for the school day.
