    We've all heard that saying.
    And at some point everybody thinks it's wrong, and that words
    hurt more than sticks or stones. Mainly because bruises and cuts
    go away, but words can stay in your mind for a long time, even years.
    Hurtful words, lovely words, words of advice, any type could mean so
    much to a person that they stick with them for a life time. So even if
    you tell a person that words don't matter, deep down, even you
    know they do.
    Words mean the world, or atleast they do to Macy.

    Nobody wants people to reject them.
    Because words do hurt, no matter what you say.

    *I said I would still post, so I will.



    Chapter One

    Macy sat in the gym, it was another dance practice.
    People were shocked she even tried out, she was always so worried
    about what people thought of her that she never really did anything
    where people were able to judge her.
    But to everyones surprize, Macy was rather good when it came to dance.
    She was offered the captian position on the dance team bu turned it
    down because she didn't want people to think of her negatively if
    she was not a good captian.
    People already judged her for having firey red hair. They think
    because she has red hair she must have a temper. She did not
    liked being judged, words hurt her. Macy could never handle critism
    well. It was a problem for her when people told her she was doing
    wrong. Normally she would just stop and never try the thing she
    did wrong once again. Like soccer, she wasn't passing the ball
    enough, so she quit, never has she touched a soccer ball since then.
    She didn't date that much, she didn't want people to think she was a whore.
    She didn't do alot of things. The fear of gossip held her back from
    many enjoyable things in life that most people get to do without a
    second thought.
    Hopefully this year would be different.
    It already was starting to change, as for staters who in the right
    mind would have a dance practice hours before the first day of school?
