1. snape would go to the dark side without lily's friendship.
2. dumbledore would trust him.
3. he could lead voldy into hogwarts.
4. harry/cho/ginny would all be killed for being on the good side.
5. you're dead.

But let's not forget the prophecy.
If Snape and Lily had a son who is to say it would be born "as the seventh month dies" and "born to those who have thrice defied [the Dark Lord]"
Without those details there's no way Harry could defeat Voldemort and promptly Lily & Snape together would change literally everything.

Oh my god, what is the point of this argument?
I envisioned James Potter to be hot.
I liked him and found him attractive.
But I also love Snape and Lily together.
