And his touch was perfect, ever so slightly. His lips fell into mine, locking with one another. Our bodies meshed, together. The puzzle piece fit, if only for a second. I tugged at the collar of his button down shirt, and his hands lay right on my hips. My arms draped around his neck, still kissing. We both grinded our hips against one another, swaying together underneath the stars. Parting, I stared at my boyfriend.
“God, you know I love you, right?”
He grinned back, running his hand through my short hair, ruffling it. I pouted, just a bit, but I smiled. He started humming one of my favorite songs. I started singing Jason’s part.
Hey little boy would you like a ride, a lollipop, a puppy?
How about a baseball bat? There’s one in my pants.
He laughed out loud, starting to sing Peter’s part.
No thank you. My mom, she said to never talk to strangers.
I kept on singing, knowing that this songs totally described us.
So a kiss is out of the question then?
He grinned, kissing me right before he sang.
I’ll take a chance
So where were you? Online? Asleep?
Like half the congregation
So are we damned?
I stayed awake as long as I could
Good Catholic, I say we go fall asleep together
Do you?
Should I bring my baseball bat?
I put my pelvis out, feeling naughty.
I think you should.
We both skipped a few verses, and sang together.
You and I
You take my hand leaving me breathless
Feel the beat of my racing heart so you’ll understand
And know why we whisper in hallways
I’ll be with you always
Running together, forever you and I
“I love you Peter.” I grinned, holding him tightly.
“I love you too, Jason.”
The stars shined above are heads, lighting the night. Our secret love, our secret destines.
The secret sin we live in, at St. Mary’s Catholic School.
inspired off the song 'You and I' which is the song in here, from the musical Bare. I have only listened to that song and 'Plain Jane Fat Ass' from Bare as well. Check it out! It's hard to find on youtube though! Thanks for reading. I only stole the names Peter and Jason from Bare, and the fact they go to a Catholic school. Nothing else. Atleast I don't think.
