Re: Through The Eyes of a Half-Blood
Chapter One.
Don't read this if you know who you are. Don't get sucked into
the world I got into. Close the book, push the information into
the back of your head, and forget about it. They may leave you
alone if you do nothing.
I don't know where to start. Well, I guess I would start with the day that Ms.Caragie turned into
a leathery creature and came after me. It was normal, well if normal is going to a school for
kids with problems, in the begining. That's where I'm going to start, the begining. I was leaving my
apartment at 8:00 to get to school early because we had a field trip. The apartment was particuarly
dirty, probably because I hadn't been cleaning up and my one step-parent, Gilbert, only payed the
rent and that was it. I couldn't keep up with it and, yep let's just say it was dirty. I had on my
favorite hot pink Converse, worn khakis, and a red and navy Boston Red Socks jersey. I yawned,
drank a bit of milk from the carton then headed to school.
I walked the block and then saw the group of kids and a single yellow bus. I wasn't part of any
girls grup, the ones that crowded together and talked about pointless stuff. Actually, I didn't
hang out with any girls, because they cared about things that didn't matter to me. "Cait!" someone
called out to me. Jon Canthan. The boys I liked more, they cared about baseball and playing
sports and things like that. I guess I wasn't much of a traditional girl. "Why are you wearing
a Red Sucks jersey?" Kellan Sparks stuck his tongue out. "Because the Yankees are a bunch of stupid
heads." "Nice vocab," he said. "You wouldn't want me to use my good one." The teachers, Ms.Caragie
and Mr. Robinson started to round up kids into the bus. "C'mon guys, and whos sitting with me?" I asked.
About ten guys raised their hand. "Let's go Kellan." As we boarded the bus, both the teachers snuck a
peek at me, Carnagie in a, evil sort of way, and Robinson, a wary look. I stepped on quickly and
took the back seat with Kellan.

Re: Through The Eyes of a Half-Blood
Chapter Two.
"And stay out!" my dad yelled. I walked down the hall of our apartment building and ran to school. This isn't the first time I was thrown out of my house. I'm usually thrown out after I'm suspended from school or late to anything. Happy life. I got to the school and I didn't see anyone. That sucked because we were going on a trip to who-knows-where. A car honked and it was the principal. Good thing I was tight with her. "Need a ride?" I nodded and hopped in the Benz.
The ride was long, but we got there in time. "Lexi!" Caitlynn, my ultra-best friend and the only girl I talked to, called me over. She was with our usual "group" as everyone likes to call it. I walked over. I tied my hair back as Cait asked, "Kicked out agian?" I laughed and nodded my head. "Yeah."
I didn't realize that Ms. Carnagie was talking because the next thing she said was, "Alexandra! Caitlynn! I was talking, but if you think you're converstion is more important than mine, speak to everyone."
"Uh, I'd rather not. I don't need everyone to know. Otherwise I would have said it a lot louder," I said airily yet dumbly. She started to talk agian. "Dude," Cait tapped me, "look over there. There's more stuff over there. Let's go." We walked to the ancient Chinese artifacts and looked at the stuff they had. We walked a little more and came face to face with Ms. Carnagie. "Um, uh, we were just, uh," I stuttered. She screached like a bird. I looked at Cait, and she just shrugged and mouthed, "I don't know." I can't even describe what happened next, but she changed into a leather like thing and started to attack us. I passed out, I was that scared, but when I woke up I was at some place with Kellan, Cait, and some dude looking at me.

Re: Through The Eyes of a Half-Blood
Chapter Three.
"Where are we?" I said as I crossed my arms. Me, Lexi, and Kellan were all roped up in a room with a tall boy with dark brown hair and blue-green eyes, and a younger kid, about our age, with black hair and black eyes. They were lokking at us and trying to explain the situation. "You are at Camp Half-Blood," the older boy said and smiled. "Welcome." Lexi leaned over and whispered, "At least we're away from the steps." I giggled. The younger boy looked over at me and for a couple of seconds, which felt like years, we locked eyes. I blushed and looked back at the tall boy. "I'm Percy," he said. "This is Nico." "Wait," I said. "Why are we here again?" Percy smiled. "Good question."
After an hour of explaining I finally talked. "That can't be true, gods are just a make up story, something to believe in." Percy chuckled. "That's what I thought, but no." He continued and said, "We don't have anymore time. Nico here will show you guys to your cabin.
"There's 13 cabin's and-" Nico said and I interuppted and said, "The two at the top are Zeus and Hera's, right?" Nico smiled and Lexi whispered in my ear, your eyes are changing again. I groaned. They had been doing this since I was 12. Some peoples faces showed their emotions, well my eyes showed mine. They were like the sea, growing a stormy grey when I was angry, getting a pretty aqua when calm, and a deep sea blue when I got flustered, like right now. "You guys are with the Hermes cabin for now, until you're claimed." I turned around to face him at the door of the cabin and said, "Thanks."
