If You Really Knew Me...
Cat.
Hiya :] So my name's Catherine Claire. I'm 15 years old (getting my temps soon!) I'm awkward and sometimes insecure. I complain too much and am a picky eater. But people say I'm really nice and have a big heart. I love things like fireworks and sunny days and vintage-y looking things. I listen to music constantly and my sense of humor is a bit hard to describe- a mix of sarcastic and silly. Anywho, here's some more 'if you really knew me's'....
Though I don't like to admit it, I'm scared of embarrassment and rejection.
I'm shy, majorly for this reason.
And I'm terrible at conversation and never know what to say to people.
I'm bad at making new friends.
But if I really click with someone, I'm totally cool.
I'm the kind of person who needs a best friend. Hanging out in groups is cool, but I need a solid friend I can always go to.
I love my best friend more than anything in the world.
She seriously means so much to me.
I have a few other close friends. but not many.
We went to different schools for the first time freshman year.
I had a rough time without her.
But we will always be there for each other <3
I love to laugh. I can't think of anything better.
I find laughter contagious. If I see people laughing and even if I don't know what they're talking about, I'll laugh anyway :]
My favorite colors are cool colors - purples, blues, and greens.
I'm kind of a pessimist. No, actually I am a pessimist. I complain too much.
But if you have a problem I'll tell you to keep your head up and look on the bright side.
Hypocritical, much? haha
I use google for everything. =P
I'm not good at taking bad news. I freak out inside.
And if I don't want to deal with something, I'll push it out of my head.
I live in denial sometimes.
I dislike fruit. Yuck. The texture bothers me. Too slimy and mushy.
I've only had one boyfriend before and he wasn't even officially my boyfriend. Just a "thing." It isn't working out. I think I wanted a relationship more than the actual boy (he's my friend, and we've always been flirty) and now I don't have feelings for him anymore. It's currently a big mess. Goes to show you that 'be careful what you wish for' can actually have meaning. I believe in true love and hope to find it one day, but for now I just want to have fun.
My guilty pleasure is watching Food Network at night.
I take will be taking French II this upcoming sophomore year. I really enjoy it and want to learn the language. It is my dream to visit Paris one day.
I take school seriously. I like to learn new things.
I'm booksmart and get good grades and I'm proud of it.
But sometimes I feel like I'm not that street smart.
I feel very inexperienced and that I have a lot to learn.
I really like photography. A new camera is at the top of my Christmas list this year.
I believe there is good and bad in everyone.
No one is black and white, and no one is exactly what they seem on the surface.
I am guilty of judging people, like I'm sure many people are, but I'd like to say I try to look for the good in everyone.
I'd rather re-watch an old favorite movie than one I've never seen.
I feel I have strong intuition. I generally try to trust my instincts.
Plus sometimes I'll do things like turn on the radio and hear the song I was just thinking about..
I feel pretty epic when that happens ;]
I'm not exactly sure who I am yet, but I'm figuring it out a little every day. I like who I am and I know I have a bright future ahead of me.
